Sarten is a metal and plastic packaging manufacturer based in Turkey. The company was established in 1972 as a family business. Sarten grown considerably in its 50-year long history. In 2015, SARTEN signed a shareholding agreement for transferring 15% of its shares to Mitsui, one of the world’s largest powerhouses. Today Sarten operates with 22 factories, 18 in Turkey and 4 in Europe. There are 3 main sectors that it operates: Food, Cosmetics and Industrial. Paint cans and plastic containers which are being produced in 4 factories are targeting product group of exports to UK.
