National show gears up to welcome you.

The countdown to this year’s National Painting and Decorating Show has begun and the organisers are promising a cracking event with hundreds of new products from around the globe, special show-only offers that you just won’t find elsewhere, and topline presentations from experts in the field of business development. And of course, goody bags bulging with samples and business gifts! It’s a great day out for the 3000-plus professionals who will make the easy trip to Coventry’s CBS Arena.

With just a few weeks to go the 100-plus exhibitors are busy planning their displays ready to target visitors with some great deals. We have put together this exclusive peek at just a few of the things you can expect to see:

 First-time exhibitor Watco have expanded their colour range and will have new paint products on show including Moisture Guard and Metal Paint; there will also be live demos of Concrex Carbon Fibre, a mouldable concrete epoxy repair mortar.

New to the P&D Show are Furniture Clinic launching an easy to use kit for the upcycling and restoration of leather, fabric and wood.

This year’s event is FrogTape’s launchpad for a new product that ‘will save you precious time’. Ideal not just for painting projects but for cleaning, sanding, mould remediation, asbestos removal and more.

Exhibiting for the first time at the P&D Show JUNO offers a wide range of coatings solutions. Their product range covers the entire spectrum of decorative, trade and industrial paints, tools and sundries. Check them out on stand 85 and pick up a free goody bag!

The big reveal from Flex will be their new carbon composite wall and ceiling sander, which at only 2.8kg makes it the lightest ever produced by the company – 40% lighter than aluminium and ten times the strength of steel.

Diamond sponsor OB1 will be showcasing their new crystal-clear universal sealant and adhesive, OB1 Diamond. This product has a crystal-clear aspect and high UV resistance, making it perfect for both interior and exterior applications without yellowing. A ‘ground-breaking product’ which ‘has been lacking in the current market’ claims the company.

Libéron are investing in the brand and the whole woodcare category in general. The company will use the show as a platform to showcase a new brand image and refreshed packaging plus exterior woodcare products launched recently.
